You could use the BBCode Control (more bbcodes, buttons and adjustment) for cpg1.5.x  plugin,  http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,57432.0.html

That's the one I use on my site with Coppermine.  Its adds the copy and paste bbcode in the file info, so you can grab the code and paste it straight in your posts.
