Title: Linux Guidelines
Post by: Skhilled on May 02, 2015, 04:53:04 PM
Although I have used linux off and on for a number of years, I'm not a linux guru so don't expect quality support here.  :hah:

This is for users to share their experiences with linux and, hopefully, we can help each other. If you do need help with something don't be afraid to ask because someone may know the answer or can point you in the right direction. That being said, it is best to check with the support boards/FAQ's/etc. for the distro you are using or trying to install first. They would have the best answers to any questions or problems you may have.

Thanks Doc,

All we can do is share what we learn along the way. :)

That's what this is for. :)

Any programs you wish to share, running a LAMP server, using an old PC for a linux firewall, or anything else you wish to do or can do we'd like for you all to share.  :cool2:

...I need to find a good Tux smiley...

Yes, I saw those but wanted some smileys that looked like regular ones. I think I know where to get one...
