I'm the type of person that will read reviews on a product across many websites before purchasing something. I also tend to buy a number of things on Amazon.com. But, sometimes the reviews are faked! Try this website to see how well the product reviews really are:

Yes I do the same, I think had I heard something a few times on the news, or maybe the web about the same?
I also feel some of the bad reviews can not be trusted either.

Some times the reviews can be seen through if you think on it awhile, I also check prices on the same product, but find that if they are lower, it usually  does not include shipping

Lots of people buy without reading and doing a bit of homework, so they are negative because they just did not read it correctly or, lack of knowledge on the products specs.
