Launchers are the same as your desktop on your PC but this is what it is called on your Android phone or tablet. The default launcher is called "TouchWiz". When you install an additional launcher you can have the option to choose one as the default (still changeable in settings) or you can change it on the fly by just pressing the Home button and selecting your chosen launcher from a list of installed ones...just click "Just Once". ;)

You can change the theme of your launcher just as you can with a SMF theme. You can also change the look of the icon packs, how the screens change and a lot more! Here are the links to some of the best launchers. And just so you know, even the free versions are very good! Yes, there are free and paid versions of each. Download the free version first and try it out. If you like it get the paid.  :cool2:

The following launchers have very nice features and some you can install themes from other launchers!

Nova Launcher - Automatically installs your apps and screens freom TouchWiz! Very nice!!! Lots of other goodies!

Smart Launcher - Automatically installs your apps and screens freom TouchWiz! Very nice!!! Lots of other goodies!

AWD.Launcher - Nice launcher but does not auto-install your apps on the screens for you.

Go Launcher EX - Nice launcher but does not auto-install your apps on the screens for you.

Apex Launcher - Nice launcher but does not auto-install your apps on the screens for you. Also, makes my tablet run a tad slow. May work differently on other devices...
