I installed this mod on a test board..

I see bats floating..

But I see no way on the template of putting bats on..

What is the trick.. Pictures if you have..

All you have to do is choose the setting and then the image.

If you are using the SMF 2.0.X branch and do not have another script that adds jQuery support then you must enable it within the mods settings (Load jQuery File ~ enabled). First try it with the "append to body" disabled and if it does not work then try enabling that option.
