The forum I am building, wants to increase font size in order to help older members ability to read the text.

Can this be done globally?

Not per se... Different areas of the forum use various sized text with different coding. However, you can easily increase the font size and colors using your browser's settings.

You can also use your keyboard and or mouse to do this as well. Hold down the ALT key and use the up or down cursor keys OR hold ALT and use the mouse wheel.

Not what I need.  Owner wants the default text bigger, and the Board cat bars to have bigger font size.

One other question then;  I will later address each font area as I come to it.  Here is my Q:  Where do I make the category bars taller?

Thanks Brother Skhilled, H

Well, it depends on the theme. If it is not Curves, then it's best to ask those who created it since all themes may be coded very differently.

However, if it follows Curves then you'll want to look in index.css of the theme's /css folder. The first few bits of code tell you how links showed be displayed. The "body" part should control a majority of the text you see. But many areas can have other font styles as well as sizes. Again, this all depends on how the theme was coded but this should give you a start.

The cat bars use /images/theme/main_block.png...then again could use just css coding and depends on how the theme is coded. But that would also be in the index.css files unless coded differently.

Ir is based on curve.  As I told you a week or so ago;  The author/website is out of business.

I will look into the ccs folder for the areas you described.  So far;  I have only been able to identify 1 font in the file.  The Green text.

Meanwhile;  I am going to update my other theme related topic, in order to keep both separate, and on topic.  Thanks, H

I just went over your posts and see nothing about you telling me they went out of business... I never knew that.
