In the individual game settings... You must set each game's submit scoring separately. Different games are made by different people for different forums and websites. The submit scoring setting has various settings for the most popular types.

So what do I do to make them work on my arcade?

1.  Install the games.

2.  Go to Admin -> Arcade -> Games -> Edit Games.

3.  Select a game you have just installed.

4.  Click "Advanced Settings".

5.  Change "Submit System" to "PhpBB (activity mod)".

6.  Do the same for the rest of the same type of games.

That is because you did not update SMF correctly.

Upgrade Your Database (http://docskillz.com/docs/index.php?page=38)

The answer was to the left all along. ;)

For SMF 2.x versions: Extract the following files -

upgrade.php
upgrade_1-0.sql
upgrade_1-1.sql
upgrade_2-0_mysql.sql - only if you use mysql databases.
upgrade_2-0_postgresql.sql - only if you use postgresql databases.
upgrade_2-0_sqlite.sql - only if you use sqlite databases.
Upload them to your root folder of your forum. Run http://yourforum.com/upgrade.php (http://yourforum.com/upgrade.php) in your favorite browser.

Is this the one I upload?

Then you are not uploading them to the correct place. They need to be in the root forum folder. Then run:

http: //www stumpburner com/forum/ upgrade.php for your live forum and just change "forum" to whatever directory is for your test forum. I think it was "test" or "stumpburner", I forget.

Upload the 2 upgrade files to your root forum folder...where index.php is. Then do what I said in the last post to run them so the forum's database gets upgraded.

Ok I am sorry but I guess I have a brain fart on this. I have look for and can't find where I can do what you are saying to do. I know its something very simple but I just can't seem to be able to do it. If you could exsplain it on a walk thru for a dummy, I just might be able to get it right.  :dontknow:

Your forum has directories and subdirectories. The parent or main directory is what you are looking for. I has the following files in it:

index.php, settings.php, etc. and also all of the subdirectories like /Sources, /Packages, etc.

Ok, I think I got it right. Do you remember when we was moveing the forum? I tried to use the      http://www.stumpburner.com/forum/upgrade.php (http://www.stumpburner.com/forum/upgrade.php)    or what ever it was and I couldn't get it to come up on the net. I had to use it by clicking on the link on your site and it would work. I am having the same trouble again. I can't get it to come up. I used the link on your site, and it worked. I try to get it to come up on FF or IE and it won't. I don't know what is wrong  :dontknow:   Like   http://www.stumpburner.com/test/upgrade.php (http://www.stumpburner.com/test/upgrade.php)  Can't get it either

:groan:

The forum one doe snot have the files uploaded to it and I doubt you need to do it to that one since I've done it before.

The test one does work. I just tried it. I'm not sure what you are doing wrong but it works in the link you just posted.

I don't understand it either. I can post the link here and then click on it, and it works. But if I click on it with FF, it won't work. Just like when we were upgrading the forum before. It did the same thing. Why will it work when I post it here, and not on my browser? I've never heard of that happening before  :dontknow:

 :hah:

By the way, I can get on your IRC now. Thanks

Must be something wrong with your browser. Maybe needs to be upgraded or an addon or theme might be causing it...or a setting.

Have you tried a different browser?
Title: Re: Game packs
Post by: beast on July 24, 2012, 09:58:04 AM

Ya, I tried IE and it does the same. I click on FF or IE and type in *http://www.stumpburner.com/forum/upgrade.php* Or * http://www.stumpburner.com/test/upgrade.php (http://www.stumpburner.com/test/upgrade.php) * and it takes me to the page where it says  *No results found for http://www.stumpburner.com/forum/upgrade.php (http://www.stumpburner.com/forum/upgrade.php)*

BUT! I can post it on here and click on it and it works? How about that  :rofl1:
I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  :dontknow:

something is not right with your browsers or your PC. I suggest running anti-virus programs. something seems to be blocking them.

OR just backup your bookmarks and uninstall FF and then reinstall it. The latest version is 14.0.1. Make sure it is up to date first.

It is not working here too as if the upgrade files are not there.
