How to stop annoying Internet videos from autoplaying

I don't know about you but I'm sick of it! It takes forever for pages to load on sites that use it. Here's a few ways to stop this extremely annoying feature:

Thank you very much. This is a total pain when im away, i use mobile net (we are still backward in aussie land) and they charge a bomb for it and things like videos playing suck up my net. 

A maybe thing for interest, apparently now on facebook, all things with video are set to auto play until you select in your settings for them not to.

Yes, it was driving me nuts!!! I had to find ways to prevent this! I understand why they do it but it will annoy the hell out of people!

You need to keep in mind that the addons you install may not always work depending on how the sites have things setup. Also, I'm sure they will try to circumvent these measures when they find out about them. It will be a battle...at least, for awhile.
