Gallery

Hope this is ok to post in this section.

I want to install a picture gallery on my webspace, it would have run along side my smf forum.  Now I am wanting to have a gallery where I can load images into and post them elsewhere using a link from that gallery.

I have used coppermine in the past but was wondering what others may have used, or think is good.

Well, you can use almost any gallery that is available and just post links from it to your Forum. But there are not many that integrate into SMF.

Avea gallery is the one I have installed here but is outdated and no longer updated.

SMF Gallery is more frequently updated but I have not used it in awhile so I can't say how well it works. But that is probably your only bet that will fully integrate with SMF other than Coppermine. They have 2 versions, a lite and a pro. The lite is here:

The lite version of SMF Gallery works well, but is somewhat thin on the features, as you might expect. The pro version is very feature rich and integrates into SMF flawlessly. I've used it for a number of years and have always been satisfied with the performance.
