My grandfather had been given some strong meds and was so out of it he wasn't taking care of himself. Meaning, not taking his meds or even eating in two days!!! My sister went to visit him and found him in such a state she took him back home with her to care for him. That was a week ago.

They came back up here Thursday to get some of his things since he decided to stay with her from now on. While they were there he saw congested and coughed up what appeared to have some blood in it so she took him to the ER. He was OK...until they gave him something they should not have. It caused his heart to seize and have a stroke! He actually flat-lined!!!

Fortunately, they brought him back. He and my sister was complaining that what they gave him (a nebulizer...I assume I'm spelling it right) should have only been given for 6 minutes. They gave it to him for over an hour! This caused the stroke!!!

He is OK now and making jokes about being "resurrected" cause it is Easter. But it was scary nonetheless! He is now out of the hospital and back at home with my sister. So, please pray for him that he will be around a while longer!

Thanks!  :cool2:

Ken.

Steve it is good to hear that he's good for now. I will keep Pop-pop in my prayers.

I just was him a little while ago and he's back to himself. :)

Thanks for the prayers!
